This morning I opened up an email from Bed, Bath & Beyond and all the brightly colored pretty photos should have made me smile

Now, I swear by my KitchenAid Stand Mixer. It is one of my best friends. I've had it for years. It's a big one. The professional 6 quart with a lift head. But it's white. Boring, plain jane, vanilla, white. The machine costs hundreds of dollars. And at the time I bought it, I didn't know fun colors were an option. I only knew that I was

Well guess what? Now I'm questioning the white. All those pretty colors in the Bed, Bath & Beyond email got my heart melting. I want hot pink. Or neon orange! Yellow! Or bright blue? But not white! Noooooooooooo.

If you already have one or are planning to get one, what color do you have/want?

You reminded me of a depressing story about mine. I had a light metallic green KitchenAid that I loved. But amazingly, it broke in the midst of making meringues! The engine died and could not be revived. Well, the green was no longer available and I now have a very boring gray KitchenAid mixer!!
yeh, i have a dark grey one because i wanted the larger size which did not come in my favourite colour (green).
however it does mean i can make a laaaaarge batch of challah or cake at a time.
I don't have a stand mixer yet, in part becuase I can't decide on a color. I like the green apple, but I wonder if I will still feel the same in 20 years. If I had gotten one 3 years ago, I would have gone with the cobalt blue, but now, not so much. So I think maybe I should go with something more neutral like one of the silvers or grays. But looking at them in photos, all the silvers look the same. I wish there was a place that had every color lined up so that I could look at them in person. Maybe I should go check out Bed Bath and Beyond.
Mine is that bright green one in the center! That's also the color of my matching Kitchen Aid kettle, and Le Creuset pot, and spatulas, and... Yeah.
I approve of avocado green only because it reminds me of old school milkshake mixers.
Mine is pink!
Part of the purchase was a donation in there, to the Komen foundation I think, for breast cancer awareness. The downside was you actually had to go online and register to make the donation from KitchenAid actually happen, so I hope everyone read the fine print and did it.
Either way, love my mixer and love my pink!
I LOVE the first turquoise one. Soooo pretty! I also have the sad, white one. At the time, I didn't know what colors my kitchen would be. I should have just went for a fun color!
After reading all these stories....WOOOW! I want one too does it come in my fav color purple?
